Fortunately, the overall performance of the BMW team in this round of the race was outstanding. In the first free practice session, Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, Garrett Gerloff, and Michael van der Mark occupied the top three positions. This marks the first time since 2012 that three BMW riders have simultaneously claimed the top three spots.
ROKiT BMW MOTORRAD WorldSBK Team rider Michael van der Mark, number 60, claimed victory in the first race with a commanding lead of 8.29 seconds over the second-place competitor, securing the championship and marking his return to the top of the podium after three years.
Bonovo action BMW Racing Team rider Garrett Gerloff, number 31, returned to the podium after a two-year absence, achieving a third-place finish in the second race, which marks his best result of the season.
Bonovo action BMW Racing Team rider Scott Redding, number 45, secured third place in the Superpole session and subsequently achieved two consecutive fourth-place finishes in the following races.
Wishing Toprak Razgatlıoğlu a swift recovery and a triumphant return, we look forward to his legendary performance continuing at the Italian round. We also anticipate that the BMW Motorrad Motorsport team will continue to overcome challenges and set new historical records in the remaining three races of the season.
